The Certification manager will plan and coordinate the activities in relation with the certification of the SENSIA products, including responsible in the relations with laboratories, budget required and personnel supporting the test campaigns. In detail:

• SENSIA products are developed under the following base directives:
• CE mark
• MIL-STD-810/461
• ATEX UNE-EN 60079
• IECEx SO/IEC 80079
• Represent the interests of SENSIA on all third-party agencies listing the Company’s products through actively participation in: certification committee meetings, standards reviews, industry white papers, etc.
• Support New Product Innovations and align priorities within the Certification team
• Drive execution at the third-party agencies to ensure projects are executed on time
• In partnership with the Product Managers and Engineering Manager, develop organizational strategies to support future business needs based on product line roadmaps
• Develop and drive business training initiatives with respect to product certifications
• Align certification objectives with the overall business objectives to ensure a strategy-focused workforce
• Manage certification expenses and capital spending
• Provide Technical mentoring and guidance, clear obstacles, drive decisions, identify critical dependencies and risks
• Effectively communicate plans, risks, status of deliverables to management and stakeholders

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
• Minimum ten (10) years’ work experience in product design
• Minimum five (5) years’ work experience working with third-party certification agencies (e.g.CE, ATEX, IEC, etc.)
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience managing an Engineering team
• Must be legally authorized to work in Spain without company sponsorship now and in the future
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the Dual Use. All applicants must be able to get NATO security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s of Science Degree in technical field
• Prior work experience performing engineering tests, analyzing results and presenting findings
• Experience using Business Central ERP
• Prior experience working in a global business environment
• Prior experience with new product development and developing process to manufacture new products
• Experience managing engineering teams in project or certification functions
